Scholarship

Scholarship for Girl Students: UPES offers a 20% scholarship for girls who opt for undergraduate and postgraduate programs. 70% marks in the 12th board exams are considered as the eligibility criteria for the scholarship.
Merit-Based Scholarship:
The university offers merit-based scholarships to its students who score an aggregate of 80% marks in classes X and XII. The scholarship amount is around 50% of the tuition fee.
The merit-based scholarship is only limited to 10% of seats in each B.Tech program offered by the university.
The merit-based scholarship will be awarded to the first-semester eligible candidates in merit order. In the succeeding years, the continuance of scholarship will be as per the university policy.
Scholarship for Uttarakhand State Board Toppers:
The university offers scholarships to the Uttarakhand state board toppers based on merit orders around one seat. A tuition fee waiver of 25% for boys and 35% for girl students in the first year is considered for this scholarship.
The seats are reserved for Uttarakhand resident students, and 15% of the seats are reserved under this category.
Students should have a permanent residence certificate, “Sthai Niwas Praman Patra” to avail the scholarship.
Students can be entitled to only one scholarship at a time. In the succeeding years, the continuance of scholarship will be as per the university policy.
